Fr. Nemanja was born (1983) in Nova Gradiska, Croatia, and came to Australia as a refugee in 2003.
​
Fr. Nemanja graduated from the University of Western Sydney with Bachelor of Arts. He then received the foundational theological training at the Orthodox Theological Faculty of the Belgrade University (Serbia) and earned his MA in Theology from St Andrew's Greek Orthodox Theological College in Sydney. He received GCA in Church History from the St Cyril’s Coptic Orthodox Theological College in Sydney. He is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at the University of Divinity (Melbourne).
Fr. Nemanja has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and various ecclesial and secular publications. He authored four books, including a book of poetry for which he received literary awards and citations in Serbia and abroad. He did some translating and editing work in the field of theology and history.
For over twenty years he served as an associate and lately as a vice-director of the Centre for Research of Orthodox Monarchism. He is an associate of the International Centre for Orthodox Studies.

Fr. Nemanja continues to teach Orthodox scripture classes in several primary schools and high schools in Sydney and serves as a coordinator for Special Religious Education of Serbian Orthodox Church in New South Wales. In 2016 and 2024 he was rewarded by the NSW Department of Education for his exceptional catechetical labor in public schools. He is the author of Orthodoxy ABC textbooks for Years 1, 3, 4 and 6 of primary Special Religious Education program in Australia.
He was ordained in 2010 at the Saint Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church in Blacktown (Sydney) where he still serves as the parish rector.

Fr Nemanja is the grateful husband of Matushka Danka and a proud father of Katarina, Dimitrije, Milan and Irina.
